Last QTR of the Holocene, Noordover Highscool, Duunkerke, Flanders, Earth, Milky Way, Arno Devin, bassist + ink artist, and Sam de Bra, dream poet, painter and clarinettist in a street band, meet after probably playing earlier in the same sandboxes. They found a first band, "Les artichauts farcis" (Stuffed artichokes), in which Sam de Bra becomes a singer (laboriously, but still). After one concert in a chip shop and a broadcast on a Flemish radio (Uylenspiegel), the band splits and they found a second band, with L.A. Vendeuse (drums) and Johnny Choukroune (guitar), still with no concessions for the media. In 1997, Guitch Beck, guitar player and linoleum smoker, joins Arno and Sam, replacing Johnny Choukroune. The band, later with Francky Manceau on the drums, performs in the halls and bars of Flanders, tours in the Netherlands and U.K, sometimes under the name of Baba, after the name of Ikuzo Baba, Japanese bass player (Dragon Ash). They share the stage with bands such as Gong, Magma, and open for Ray Manzarek (The Doors) in Dartford, Uk, city founded by hunter-gatherers (Stone Age).
2000: they take a 20-year break to experience in other bands or artistic fields. 2022, after Sam's abduction by the Galactic Federation, Arno and Guitch decide a concession by sharing their music on media, and plan a video tour with Sam's hologram from Vega.
